Everything Almost in the Right Place

I found a couple of perfect patches of the Holy Grail of mushroom photography today…

 

1 Fresh group of fungi

2 Dappled light behind

3 Colourful moss

4 Perfectly placed raised log

 

BUT

 

Wrong lens with me. Decided to take my 1970s Chinon for a walk and while it has great bokeh, it’s no macro!
