Inspection

Inspection routine of the guard's gun at The Tomb of Unknowns, in Arlington Cemetery, Washington DC. The Tomb itself has been guarded continuously 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, since July 2, 1937. All of the steps (21 steps across the tomb area) and timings (21 seconds of pausing) allude to the 21 gun salute - the highest honor given to military or foreign dignitaries.
