In almost every list pride (Latin, superbia), or hubris, is considered the original and most serious of the seven deadly sins, and the source of the others. It is identified as a desire to be more important or attractive than others, failing to acknowledge the good work of others, and excessive love of self (especially holding self out of proper position toward God).

 

"Per superbia si intende la volontà di conquistare per se stessi, con ogni mezzo, una posizione di privilegio sempre maggiore rispetto agli altri. Essi devono riconoscere e dimostrare di accettare la loro inferiorità correlata alla superiorità indiscutibile e schiacciante del superbo."

 

I noticed that, when someone tries to represent a sin, always uses expressions, colors, sometimes written words on the upper half of the body.

Well, I chose to use the other part of the body.
