Caribbean Hybrid System - Aerial View
The above photograph is an aerial view of the Caribbean renewable power system that was commissioned in late April 2010.
This is an off-grid system that incorporates 8 x 15 kW wind turbines, 240 kWp solar photovoltaics, 3 x 312 kVA diesel gensets and a whopping 360v battery bank rated at 6000Ah capable of storing 2.16 MWh of energy.
