The regular polyhedra (solids whose faces are identical regular polygons like squares or equilateral triangles) are named after the Greek
philisopher Plato. There are just five of them:
tetrahedron - 4 triangles
cube (or hexahedron) - 6 squares
octahedron - 8 triangles
dodecahedron - 12 pentagons
icosahedron - 20 triangles
