For the record: the saucer shape is based on the outer surface of this sphere/globe: www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=40018, reduced to 1/3-height.

For now it is just a hollow shell; it will eventually have a cockpit, living space, etc etc.

Done
