Gare do Oriente Lisboa designed by Santiago Calatrava
The Gare do Oriente is one of Lisbon's main transport hubs (rail, metro) and is designed by one of my favorite architects, Santiago Caltrava (originally for the Expo 1998 World Fair). Oriente Station is one of the world's largest stations, with 75 million passengers per year which makes it as busy as Grand Central Terminal in New York.
Still extremely busy at the moment...
