Wines of the Périgord region

France in general is of course world-famous for its cuisine. The Périgord region is no exception to this, and has some fine specialities to offer. Black Truffles and Foie Gras are of course the best-known, but Périgord wines are also considered among the best of the best. These bottles are from ' Maison Barjou' of the town of Monpazier en Périgord and were to be found -indeed- in Monpazier itself.
