The curve and the tree, The Holy Mountain of Athos

Although over the last decade dirt roads have been built on Mount Athos, they are still rare, and traffic is even more uncommon. When hiking on this road for three hours, we saw only two vehicles passing by.... Whilst both offered us a lift, we decided to walk since the views seemed more attractive than taking a bumpy ride in the back of a pick-up truck!
