Blaentillery No.2 Colliery [3]
Abandoned high on the mountainside overlooking Blaenavon this drift mine was in use until a few years ago. A lot of the surface railway remains in situ but all the wagons have had their wheels removed. This colliery was the one used in the BBC TV series "The Coal House" televised a few years ago.
This hard hat and boots were quite mobile this morning and seemed to be in a different position each time I looked!
