The Wayside Chapel, Ellsworth, Michigan

Of course we had to stop at this little place! And across the street was a lovely orchard where you could buy the fresh fruit!

"Built in the 1960s, this chapel was previously listed by Guiness World Records as the second smallest church in the world. It was built by the now-closed Atwood Christian Reformed Church and recently taken over by the Ellsworth Christian Reformed Church. This really is a tiny building, with dimensions of 12 feet by 8 feet. Four people can sit inside the chapel and there is limited standing room.

When you visit Wayside Chapel, you should take advantage of its close proximity to Friske Orchards Farm Market. Located right across the street from the tiny church, Friske's is a family destination, complete with a gift shop, a play area for kids, a cafe, a bakery, u-pick fruit and more." -source: www.mlive.com/travel/2017/08/tiny_michigan_church_wayside...
