Artist Point Trail, Grand Marais, Minnesota
Last October my husband and I were excited to scrape enough together to spend a few days on the north shore of Minnesota! This was our first real, non work related vacation in years so we were excited even though we traveled simply. The first day, we got to know Duluth and how beautiful it is and how wonderful the food is. We especially loved touring Glensheen mansion. Duluth really stole our hearts. However, the north shore captured our souls!
The storybook town of Grand Marais was so quaint and beautiful that we never, ever wanted to leave! We absolutely adored adventuring around the harbor and the shops and eating at a few places - it was magical! We started out at the harbor and were instantly enchanted. How could we not be? Then immediately we made our way to Artist Point Trail. I'm glad we got there ridiculously early, because there was a crowd by the time we left. And I don't love nature and a crowd, it just seems wrong. Anyway, enjoy Artist Point Trail - I'll be posting photos form here for awhile. It's breathtaking!
