Back To School Brigade Houston TX
We had a great time serving 300 military children at our BTSB event in Houston, TX on August 7, 2019! Held at Ellington Field, parents and children received backpacks, lunch totes, and school supplies, while having the opportunity to receive valuable community resource information and play an exciting game of ring toss with the Whataburger team! Operation Homefront Volunteer Reservists and employees from Dollar Tree and Carlton Staffing assisted families with picking out supplies and choosing lunch totes. We wouldn't have been able to have such an amazing event without the following: Our incredible sponsors: Dollar Tree, SAIC, the Guill Family Foundation, Navy Federal Credit Union, Thirty-One Gifts, Carlton Staffing, PCD Management, and TNT Prepackaged School Supplies; our community partners: TXMF State Family Program - Family Assistance Center of Ellington Field, USO Houston, Whataburger, The National Charity League - The Woodlands Chapter, Harris County Public Health - Texas WIC, Veterans Land Board, and the YMCA; and most importantly, our INCREDIBLE military families!
