Corry Station, Pensacola, Fla. (July 8, 2005) – Cryptologic Technician 1st Class Henry Hughes unloads palettes of sand bags at the Center for Information Dominance, Corry Station, as awaiting Sailors prepare to place them around exterior doorways in Bldg. 3744. The secure building, normally used for classified cryptologic training, is being converted to a hurricane shelter to potentially house several hundred military and civilian evacuees if Hurricane Dennis impacts the Pensacola, Fla., area as projected. As of 8 a.m. EDT (1200 GMT), Dennis, a Category 4 hurricane, was located 230 miles southeast of Havana, Cuba, and about 285 miles south-southeast of Key West, Florida. The storm is moving northwest at 12 mph, but is expected to start moving west-northwest. It is expected to make landfall late Sunday, July 10th 2005.
