Andrew Jack says: As a suggestion from Kenny McCartney, I had a look at this shot. I think it is genuinely the best version of this shot I have seen - its a well executed shot, regardless, but the picture in picture on the iphone is just genius. So impressed with this shot!

Andrew Jack says: I happened to be here when Graham was taking the shot. Everytime I go out with Graham I learn something new. It was his brilliant idea to use a grad over the wheel to pull the foreground up a bit - which was a masterstroke. I did the same and was delighted with the results, although mine is nowhere near as crisp as this one.

Andrew Jack says: This is just a brilliant shot. Its for me a really interesting shot, and brilliantly executed. It looks almost like a studio creation vs a design brief. Its the kind of shot, that I think would have loads of commercial value too,

Andrew Jack says: I was with Grant when he took this with the lensbaby scout. We were only a couple of metres away from the kiosk, but the fisheye optic picked out the whole scene really well. Great take on the big wheel

Andrew Jack says: Again, for me I like this, because it is not a long exposure - large aperture to capture a touch of movement, but retaining the speed to get a real sense of whats going on!

Andrew Jack says: This is a fairly common edinburgh scene from Calton hill, but I really like the addition of the wheel here. Its a great shot, but the thing that sets this aprat for me is how incredibley sharp and well executed the shot is. The versions I have done on this have either been underexposed o all the lighting blown out, but this retains sharpness clarity and tonnes of interest.

Andrew Jack says: Obviosly a wider shot but includes the winter wonderland wheel. Another super sharp and well executed shot - gives the visitors eye view of coming into edinburgh for the festivities.

Andrew Jack says: It can be tricky trying to compose with portions of the attractions, but this is in my opinion a great example of how to do it very well.
