Cigarette holder

Greasewood cigarette holder carved at Minidoka. Cigarette holders were given to the donor's husband because he was a smoker. He enjoyed looking at them, but never used them.

The donor's family voluntarily evacuated from Seattle to Denver in March 1942 but they were able to visit friends in Minidoka. Friends from Minidoka sent handcrafted items made in camp, including needlework & items made from shells, sagebrush, wood.

2006.51.02, gift of Aiko Adachi.
