Each of us is made up of layers and layers, shaped by our experiences, our adventures, our thoughts, our family, friends & loved ones and so much more. Part of the pleasure of meeting someone new is peeling away those layers to discover what lies beneath. Some people are easy to peel, while others are very tightly wound, like the center of this rose. Don't give up on those people. Even though it may take you a bit longer, once you get to know them, they may surprise you the most! :-)
