An abandoned rail road bridge over the Pecatonica River. This is near where the community of Nevada, IL used to be. In the mid 1800s, a couple of cholera plagues and some shifty land dealings doomed the community to an almost forgotten history. There is little if any remnants of that community that remain, except for this bridge..
