It Takes a Lot of Work to Stop a Train

Looking back on an interesting summer and it seems like time to reveal some of the hard work behind the magic.

An hour before Union Pacific's Big Boy was scheduled to fly through town, the one24thscale team did a forced perspective setup that had been on the Julesburg images wish-list for some time.

In this shot Ken is doing one of the dozens of looks through the lens we did before we were happy with the scene and ready to capture it. We probably moved the table 5 or 6 times and forty or fifty feet, before we were satisfied with the way all the elements lined up. We have gotten pretty good at lifting a table full of models and props without spilling anything.

Now, as a special bonus, stay tuned for a special two-for-one bonus Behind-the-scenes image.

Coming up next, after this word from our sponsors....
