Exo 948 @ Deux-Montagnes, QC
December 31, 2020 was a melancholy day for railfans in Quebec - the final day of service on Exo's Deux-Montagnes line before its planned shutdown for the REM conversion. Several excellent and poignant photo essays have already been posted by others, so without further preamble, here's a small collection of what I shot on that final day.
With a good number of railfans on board, 948 - the 14:22 departure from Deux-Montagnes towards Bois-Franc, where the trains were terminating - has just departed from the station and is about to cross Rue Henri-Durant.
