Obviously not a UK aerial where VHF services were vertically polarised from main stations, became redundant in 1969 and closed in 1985 consequently combined VHF/UHF aerials are old and rare. In sparsely populated areas more elaborate arrays are common as it is likely to be on the fringe of the service area. This one is in Alaska.
