Dual Band X

Sprigs added to a Band I X-aerial to give a resonance on Band III. Band III services in this area commenced in 1955 from Winter Hill (ch 9 V), Band I in 1951 from Holme Moss (ch 2 V). The transmitters are in similar directions and the sites still in use for other services although System A television closed in 1985.
