The Forge
Ruckle Farm (Provincial Park): "This is the farm's oldest outbuilding. Well over 100 years old, it was constructed between 1878 and 1880, and is one of the few forge buildings remaining from that period. Look at the log ends: they were cut and squared with an axe.
Henry Ruckle and his son, Daniel Henry, were both skilled blacksmiths, and many of the farm implements they used were made in this building."
