Freightliner 66522 passes the site of the former chord linking the Midland Railway to the Eden Valley Railway to the south of the station, which would've disappeared off to the right just before the treeline, working the 6E97 1049 New Biggin to Stourton Neck Sig S912 before entering Hunslet Yard for weekend storage on Saturday 29th March 2025. It is believed the connection was never fully completed and no trains ever ran over it.
