Cretaceous glow
The massive cliffs of Mon, Denmark, the bottom of the long-gone Cretaceous Sea, appear to be glowing from within shortly before sunrise.
As they are constantly eroding, they are taking trees with them. One such dead branch is seen here, coloured white by the omnipresent chalk the cliffs are made of. The blue hue is real pre-dawn light as seen on location (not a flawed white balance setting or something).
