Umpachene falls
Oddly, I'd never visited this waterfall before, which is located out in the Western half of Massachusetts (the Berkshires). When I got there, it looked as if it was closed off for the winter, and the parking lot was shut. I parked on the remote road leading to the falls, hoping to not get towed in the next 15 min. The falls were actually quite impressive and with no-one around it was easy to get the composition that I wanted. There was a good flow of water and no major freezing yet. I happily found my car still along the side of the road, phew!
Also, one of the few photos captured with a tripod. I grudgingly admit that the photos are a bit sharper than handheld with this camera.
