Menehune are legendary creatures from Hawaiian mythology who are said to be master builders.
There are several hundred of these statues, some in wood, some in stone, hidden all over the resort. They're Aulani's answer to the "Hidden Mickeys" at the Disney parks, though there are plenty of those to find at Aulani, too.
