A small sculpure of a woman with a (functional) lamp in her hand seems to walk down a vertical pillar at Pike Place Market in Seattle, WA, as pedestrians follow their own paths below.
This area with many staircases had a number of these figures appearing to walk on various vertical surfaces to great disorienting effect. A little Googling after the fact shows that they're part of an installation by the artist Dan Webb. I couldn't resist taking shots of as many as I could find.
