Urban Fisherman
A man waits for fish to bite at the end of Pier 14 on the San Francisco Bay.
You can't really tell from the photo, but this little pedestrians-only pier is right in the heart of the city, within a short walk of the Bay Bridge and the bustling Ferry Building.
Subconsciously I guess I never think of fishing as something you could do in a setting like this, but I saw several folks fishing for their dinner on this and another nearby pier.
