Chairs
A stunning bit of choreography from the show "iD" by Cirque Eloize, performing at the Wang Theater in Boston, MA.
We've seen enough Cirque du Soleil and similar shows at this point that we're starting to get a bit jaded. As a result, when it was announced that Cirque Eloize was coming to Boston, we didn't rush out to buy tickets.
As luck would have it, though, my father found a discount ticket offer that was just too good to pass up, so we ended up going anyway.
I'm really glad we did! The troup was wonderful, and rather than being yet another "wow, look at that!" circus show, the performance was really built around music, dance, and performance, with the amazing circus feats blending seamlessly into the whole.
Highly recommended -- I'll definitely keep an eye out for future performances from this *other* Montreal-based performing troupe.
