Waiting for the Parade
A young woman naps stylishly while waiting for the Jubilation! parade at Tokyo Disneyland.
We saw guests in all sorts of cool outfits while at the Tokyo Disney parks, both male and female. I wish I had taken more photos of them, since the outlandish fashion mostly vanished from sight when we left the parks and ventured on to Kyoto and Tokyo. Even Harajuku on a Sunday had far fewer interestingly-dressed kids.
Note the plastic sheet she's sitting on. The parades are hugely popular at TDLR and people stake out spots up to an hour in advance for them by putting down plastic sheets like this. We saw a few people using towels or even bubble-wrap, but most had mass-produced sheets with Disney-themed decorations on them. We finally found one for sale at the Disney Store in Ikusupiari on our last day.
