Star Wars In Concert Orchestra - Red Clouds
Erick and I went to see "Star Wars In Concert" last night in Manchester, NH. It was great! Both Erick and I loved it.
London's Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and Choir performed several pieces of John William's music from the six Star Wars films, accompanied by film montages cut to the music on a giant screen. Each piece was introduced by Anthony Daniels (C-3PO from the movies) and followed one character or theme through shots from the movies.
It was wonderful to hear the music performed by a full orchestra and choir (86 pieces, I read somewhere), and the visuals really added to the experience. They also had costumes and items from the films on exhibit in the lobby, as well as costumed characters to pose with.
