I wanted to see how the movements of the birds and the swing of the lens would combine to form the image. Some birds flying on the same direction as the lens, some against and some across that motion. Effective shutter speed approx 1/5s. The camera uses differently sized fans (air brake) attached to the clockwork mechanism to control the shutter speed.
