Crosscutting Box Pieces To Length
Because this box will be dove-tailed, I cut the box pieces to length PLUS 1/16". So, in this case, the front and back pieces will be 16 1/16", and the sides 11 1/16".
The extra 1/16" allow me to leave a slight protrusion when dove tailing, enabling the finished box to be sanded smooth.
