Common yeasts used for cider production.

Liquid yeast (left) is a lot more expensive route to take when compared to dried yeast packets (right). Is it worth it? I guess it all depends on your taste. I like them both but tend to use dry yeast. More wine makers use it and cider and champagne yeasts are not always in stock at my local brew store. Hey I told both stores I'd buy it if it was in.... What more can I do? I'll most likely try internet. I've heard nothing bad so far about yeast being shipped.
