Hemenway Park - Boulder City

Desert Bighorn Sheep (Ovis canadensis nelsoni) It is hard to tell in this picture but they rest in these tight groups with each member facing outward so they can keep an eye out for predators. Interestingly none are facing the people in the park. Apparently they do not consider people a threat to them.
