Rusty Ball and a Half Socket_A7R8847

It was soon after I came home from the Army, many years ago. I had cameras. My father's cousin asked if I would take the group picture for her twenty-fifth high school reunion. I wasn't thinking well that day and said yes. I suppose that I thought because I subscribed to Popular Photography Magazine I was ready for a commercial photo shoot. I knew enough that in order to take a picture of a group while inside I needed more than just a flash on the camera. I found two lamps with stands at a local photo store. This is one of the two. It has a rudimentary ball and socket setup so the lamp can be aimed. I did the job. I got pictures, processed the film and made prints. I found out something. Commercial photography is a real job. I thank my lucky stars that nobody ever asked me to do a wedding. This image was cropped from a 75mm square photo of the entire mechanism. HMM everyone. Thanks for your views, faves, and comments.
