The first thing I do every Tuesday is check the Macro Mondays Discussions for the new weekly theme. Well, crack eh? My mind raced, until I read the entire description. OK, got it. No sense mooning about that my very first idea was a bust. I have plenty of tree stumps within walking distance of my house so getting some wood with a crack is not a problem. At the corner of my yard is the butt of an apple tree that died a few years ago. Since then the bark has dried up and peeled off leaving it bare. There are grooves dug by insects that add texture and figure to the surface of the wood. By Wednesday I had a couple of cracks in the can and could relax until the crack of midnight on Monday.
