Our bathroom window faces west and there is always a potted plant on the window sill. So early Wednesday morning the moon was about an hour from setting. I knew I would be up for a while so I set up the tripod and took this picture. The objective was to frame the flowers as to have the moon as the one and only bokeh ball. I used a Canon FD 50mm f3.5 Macro lens set to f5.6. I prefer a manual focus lens for night photography because the mechanical lens adjustment is a lot easier to get right and won’t shift around for no apparent reason. HMM! Thanks to any and all that stop to look, like or comment.
