The Village of Banff down in the valley, with the Tunnel Mountain in the center here. Around there is mountain peaks everywhere. Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has a lot of them. Banff Town itself is already at an altiture of 1400 metres. Cascade Maountain, above the town here, reaches 2998 m.

Banff itself has a few thousands inhabitants. And quite a few tourists, from it position as a gateway to the Canadian Rockies. There can't be so many more, as the town is not allowed to grow beyond it's current borders.
