A contrast

Both with the previous photo and the surrounds; a male varied eggfly.

 

Near Mitchell on the banks of the Maranoa and well outside its normal range due to the heavy and widespread rains a month ago. Everywhere we went from Roma to Morven there were masses of butterflies.
