Les Miserables 52 Episode Anime, YEAH!
World Masterpiece Theater (WMT) released after a 15 year break another wonderful novel. I almost cried just watching the intro, at the end of when Jean Val-Jean is given a hand by the priest and contrasted with him giving a hand to Cosette.
WMT has been releasing wonderful Novels into anime since the 1970's. I grew up watching Tom Sawyer, Sherlock Holmes, Dartagnan (and the 3 Musketeers), Heidi of the Alps, Snow White, The Little Mermaid (the true story where Ariel actually dies!!!), and many other novels that have greatly influenced the Literary world...
Anyhow, I just saw episode one, and little Cosette's mom was tricked to leave her behind and go find work. Cosette is given the job to clean up things as soon as the mom had left... so sad... =(
I know... I'm a weird. haha.
