I deactivated my Facebook account because I'm no longer comfortable with their privacy position.

For instance, it's impossible to delete your data from Facebook. Even if you 'delete' it, they keep your data, and presumably analyze it for consumer trends, etc...
I may rejoin Facebook at some point, but not until they give me back choice. I want control over my own privacy.
