Paparazzi
A few days ago Zivity CEO @cyantist put out a request for paparazzi extras for a photo shoot for www.zivity.com. I had some time before I left town so I went down there to help. The photo shoot was to show off their new t-shirt designs.

The best part wasn't the models (though they were gorgeous)… it was running into one of the other 'paparazzi'. He looked familiar, and at some point made a reference to Iraq, further cluing me in. It turns out it was Ryan Lackey, famous founder of the now defunct HavenCo and war-zone internet plumber.

Ryan worked with the Synergy Strike Force team in Afghanistan, and he stayed in our guesthouse in Jalalabad. He was there connecting up internet for a hospital we're associated with. He's been to our Tiki Bar.
It turns out he used to be roomates with @cyantist way back in the day and was in SF.
It's not everyday I run into someone else who's been to the Taj, much less at the same time as models.
