Workaround
Here's what I'm doing as a backup in case Google thinks I'm a spammer. In the settings you can have it automatically forward a copy of any e mail to another address. I've set it up to go to my Yahoo account.
If Google suspends my account while I'm in the middle of an important and time sensitive project I can hop over to my Yahoo account and keep working. Not perfect, I'd rather they didn't do it in the first place, but they really screwed me today by locking me out of my account.
As far as I can tell it was because I was moving around a lot of documents, but it was totally legit stuff. All pdf and word docs.
If anyone has any better ideas, do let me know. It has to be a web-based solution, since I work on multiple computers.
