15. A Colossal Secret
At the same time when Uncles started their project, the weather changed warmer and little by little, over the days, downright boiling. Aunties’ original idea of large-scale housecleaning dried up at the same rate as the temperature rose: instead of cleaning they ended up spending hottest hours of the day on the shady side of the porch, and as a bonus they had a visual contact to Uncles’ building site, which wasn't a bad thing at all.
The next twelve days followed pretty much the same pattern: the Uncles disappeared into the hoard of the tent early in the morning and sounds of knocking and banging was heard from there throughout the day. The Aunts sat down on the terrace with their refreshments to watch the events whenever the sun turned into the west side of the house and the porch stayed in the shade.
-This is actually quite entertaining, Manna had to admit whenever she joined the Aunties in a shady terrace.
