In Rainbows
After years of waiting, a month or so ago Radiohead announced they were finished with their new album and were in contract negotiations w/ labels. They were shooting for a March 2008 release date.
Then, last week, they announced that before signing w/ a new label they would make the album available as a DRM-free .MPG download from their website on October 10th, with no set price. Their fans could decide what they "thought the download was worth." Or one could pre-order the super-deluxe boxed set, which is of course what I did.
