Farewell to a Friend ...
these images are posted as a tribute to this little blue car ....which was wrecked in a collision on Saturday ...
l drove the car for 15 years ......many of the photos l have posted on Flickr were in places that the car carried me safely to ....it had almost 140,000 miles ...but was still full of life and spirit ...
l had no accidents in the car until Saturday ....
While l was stopped at a red light , an SUV slammed into the back of my car .....sending us into a pickup truck in front of us ....
The rear and front of my car were both heavily damaged ....the car is a total loss ...
the other 2 vehicles suffered only minor damges ...
Most important ...and most luckily, no people received serious injuries ....
