When l visited in August ...the water volume was the highest l have ever seen it ...thanks to the generous rains received by this area in spring and summer .
The photos here and below were taken around 9 am ...when the rising sun was illuminating the top of the falls ...but the bottom half was still in shadow ...
l enjoyed the visual beauty of the falls ...but the purest joy for me was to sit and listen to the lovely sound of the falling water in the peaceful wilderness setting .....the wild music was a soothing escape from the noisy clamor of our high-stress society ....
