Mapping our communities: the south west
As part of the 3D Dialogues young people from across the South West mapped out the spaces and activities that were available for them. These maps include details of activities that are available at present, barriers to accessing these, and activities young people would like to see in the local area.
The 'Local Offer', a policy under Youth Matters, brings about a right for young people to have access to 2 hour recreational leisure activities and 2 hours educational leisure activities each week. Later in the dialogue sessions, young people explored how they could influence local authorities to provide activities to meet this.
